It's my favorite time of the year.

Although we don't see drastic season changes here, I still look forward to fall very much. Fresh crisp air, marine layer, leaves falling, pumpkin spiced latte, apple picking, and of course my birthday :))

Fall is definitely my favorite time of the year.

I was hoping to snap a few shots of some fallen leaves I saw at the park, but that didn't happen today. Instead I sat at Barnes & Noble browsing some photography and home decor books.. Haven't done that in awhile! Maybe next week I'll go out and do a little shooting.

Pure bliss..

I finally have a moment to share some images of our camping adventure. 4 days of pure bliss... I'll let these photos tell the story.

There is light at the end of the tunnel...

As I was editing our vacation photos a few nights ago, I came across this image and it reminded me of that quote..." There is light at the end of the tunnel"  Sometimes we go through things in life and all you see is a dark tunnel. Eventually you will see the light.. I have found that is true in my life.. The light will shine eventually.. What ever you are facing today, do not despair.. Just keep on going.

Together

One of the most beautiful things about photography is the ability to pause a moment. a second in life. Then look at that photograph and be transported to that special moment- filling you with the same emotions you felt that day.

and on this day...

My heart was filled with so much joy. Even as I sorted, edited, and put together this blog post, I felt the love just as I did on this day. Every smile reminded me of all the laughter and hugs shared. I was blessed to have the opportunity to photograph my cousin Jessica and her beautiful family. It's been long overdue and so glad it finally worked out.

And I must admit, watching her girls play together ,enjoying each others company, made my heart happy. Maybe one day my little one will experience the joys of having a sibling...

Lots of laughs and hiking

Meet another beautiful and sweet senior....Miss Stacey. I'm not sure if she knew what she was in for when we set up her senior session, but she sure was a trooper hiking up some pretty big hills. Sometimes I get ideas in the middle of shoots, but they require... umm, a little braveness. Glad we didn't run into any wild critters :)

She's class of 2011, loves dancing, reading and all types of food. She's such a lovely girl with a big heart. Wishing you all the best, Stacey!! Keep working hard and dreaming big. xo
